Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 1, 2026 · Last updated: April 1, 2026
Studio Habre operates RhinoX Ledger, an offline-first accounting application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.
1. Overview
RhinoX Ledger is built on an offline-first philosophy. Your business data — invoices, inventory records, vouchers, customer information, and financial entries — is stored locally on your device by default. We do not transmit, sell, or analyze your business data without your explicit action.
We collect only the minimum personal information necessary to operate the service (e.g., your email address for authentication) and remain fully transparent about our handling processes.
2. Data We Collect
Account & Identity Information
Your name and email address provided during registration, used solely for authentication and license management.
Business Data (Stored Locally)
Inventory, vendor/customer records, invoices, vouchers, and reports. This data never leaves your device unless you voluntarily initiate a cloud backup.
Application Preferences
Theme settings, language, and notification preferences stored directly on your device.
Diagnostic Data (Opt-in)
Anonymized crash reports and logs used to improve stability. This feature is disabled by default.
Payment Information
All payments are processed by secure third-party providers. We do not store financial instrument details on our servers.
3. How We Use Data
- Manage your RhinoX Ledger account and license.
- Authenticate users across multiple devices.
- Send service notices, license expiry alerts, and security updates.
- Process subscription payments and issue receipts.
- Improve performance and resolve technical issues.
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
4. Storage & Security
Your business data is stored in an encrypted local database. We utilize OS-level file permissions, optional PIN protection, and AES-256 encryption for any cloud-synced snapshots.
Note: While we employ high-security standards, no electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage keeping independent backups.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or trade your personal information. Limited data is shared with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) for authentication and payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for billing.
6. Cloud Sync
Cloud synchronization is optional. You control when syncs occur, and you can delete your cloud backups at any time. Disabling cloud sync does not limit local functionality.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also withdraw consent for diagnostic processing at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
